It’s been estimated that 15 billion clothes hangers are used by the fashion industry across the world each year. Made mostly from plastic and from wire, the demand on raw materials is enormous. Millions of hangers are discarded after only months of use, and as large amounts of plastic and wire hangers go to landfill, more harmful emissions are released into the atmosphere.

And yet very few manufacturers of clothes hangers use recycled plastic to make their hangers.

So, we designed our own clothes hanger. Produced in Australia, our hangers are made of 100% recycled plastic. Because they are made of one single material (polypropylene), they are fully recyclable.  And best of all, they carry carbon credits of 30kg CO2-e so that each hanger (more than) counters the lifetime carbon cost of a standard garment.
